Not every hair story needs a full wig. This week’s lookbook page follows one topper from the atelier bench to a client’s first selfie — and answers the three questions we hear most along the way.

The craft beneath

This is what nobody sees once a topper is worn: the base. Each HEADS topper base is hand-knotted in our own European Hair Factory — thousands of individual knots that set the parting, the density and the way the hair falls. It is the part we are proudest of, and the part that decides everything.

You asked: mesh or lace — what is the difference?

A mesh base is light and breathable and lets your own hair pass through and blend with the topper. A lace base gives the most realistic finish at the parting, because the translucent lace reads like your own scalp. You asked: does a topper work in Philippine heat and humidity?

Yes — with the right base. Mesh and lace are breathable and let air reach the scalp, which is what matters in a tropical climate. We select the base around your climate and routine, not just the look. All 25 client questions are answered in our FAQ.
